In December 2013,TCC was engaged by the NSW Council for Social Services (NCOSS) to manage a NGO Sector Engagement project funded by NSW Family and Community Services (FaCS).
The purpose of the project was to identify factors that could assist in improving communication between the community sector and government towards the development of the FaCS NGO Engagement Strategy.
Working closely with NCOSS, peak organisations and a range of stakeholders from the community sector, TCC was required to develop specific case studies on funding reform and procurement processes. Further, from these case studies, TCC facilitated a series of Focus Groups with participants from across NSW to detail findings from the case studies.
This project directly informed a report submitted to FaCS from NCOSS in April 2014 with recommendations for a future approach to funding reform processes.
